These drawings were an instinctive emotional response to what I felt during my week in October 2021 exploring my family history at Sachsenhausen memorial. During Kristallnacht on the 9th of November 1938 my great grandfather Bruno Schwartz was arrested and placed into Sachesenhausen Concentration, he was lucky enough to be released two weeks later, many others, family members included were not so lucky...
